Saved, Now What?

Have you ever made a major decision or experienced a grand event, then afterward wondered what you were supposed to do next?

I’m talking about when there’s only smoke from the fireworks, shoe prints in the confetti-covered floor, or worse, that silent void after the applause has faded.

Are you supposed to just walk to your car and drive home? What song do you skip to on your playlist? There’s still laundry, time clocks, and traffic signs.

But doesn’t the world know that nothing can ever be the same?

Walking out of the church after you answered the altar call. Standing up after you’ve been on your knees asking Jesus to intervene. Clutching the damp tissue that can’t dry another tear after you lifted your palms in surrender and asked Jesus to come into your heart and change your life, forever.

Those moments don’t come with disappointment or awkward silences. They invite freedom, and joy, and a relationship with someone who will never fail you or leave your side.

I’ve experienced the moment when I felt I had nowhere else to go. No one else to turn to. So I did the one thing I had never tried before. I lifted my palms to the sky and said, “Jesus, if you are there, and you are willing to help me get out of this mess, I will surrender my life to you.”

The next few days of my life unfolded in a way that can only be described as a miracle. I was rescued from the situation I was in. I felt comfort, safety, and peace about the next steps that I took as my life rapidly and drastically changed.

Nothing was ever the same.

I’m happy you are here. I pray you have had that conversation with Jesus about changing your life.

If not, let’s talk about that. This is your journey, and I am here to take the next steps with you.

If you're asking yourself, I'm saved, now what? and have questions about how to pray or how to choose a Bible, or about biblical literacy and theology, my personal favorite topics, let’s get started.

Contact me today if you or your church wants to talk about faith coaching, pop-up ministries, or to book a speaking engagement.

Perhaps you have an idea for a ministry event and need some help; let’s talk.

Blessings,
